NEWater Visit

As a collective effort to canvass stuff for kr fwoc, flag, rag, bash and dnd, we went to PUB newater treatment plant for this tour thingy.. together with some of the kr residents from other blks too, i tot it was a gd excursion, no pressure, relac kind of atmosphere.

all these for exchange of 2k of newater drinking water if the proposal goes thru. ;) not too bad. we shd have such excursions more often, imagine whole of kr at mandai zoo.. haha. fun.

makeover

haha. was invited to go to a makeover studio, apparently its some lucky draw prizes when i used the NETS for payment during one of their promotion mths. oh well, i was told i can get a total makeover, 2hrs, plus a photoshoot with 2 free photos of any choice. on top of that, i can bring my family along, the more the merrier. ..

so, here are the end products. my younger bro is a aspiring model to be, i think hes far more photogenic than i do. waha and ya, my face has become rounder, tmd.

anyway, its nt tat simple as just a photoshoot, haha. yup, it was a mlm-style-cum-promotion-thingy... haha, in all and all, for a lifetime membership, i was suppse to pay slightly more than 3k for those 50shots, of course gt some stuff too, like free ic pics, reshoot, blah blah blah.. oh well. my family took the 4hrs like a family outing, so it was quite fun, luffing and dressing up as da chang jin. i think makeover is a gd family gathering event, it sorta gells everyone together and do stupid things u never dare to do.. the photographer actually asked me to remove my top for a more playful and daring shoot, but i declined, didnt dare to show them my ermm.. united nations. ;(

the da chang jin craze, we chose the shoot of korean theme. it was well taken i tot, very bright smiles from everyone. too bad huan nt there. i shd digitalised all our flaws away.. heh.. i like!

JB trip

heh, went to jb with eguanas. it was fun, so great to see the younger eguanas growing up and talking back.. tsk. ahha. jLo is going to be another chin, weiaun is fking innocent, never see thaiger show before.. changjie very down to earth person.. ahah. albert . is a big time cock. 11 of us went, more than half did their hair. hahal.. i didnt.. coz i scared my sunburnt skin would be scarred.

oh ya, was listening to the radio jus now and on class 95, thers this blinddate show, haha. one of the qns asked was, 'if you are a piece of female garment, what would it be? why?' haha, the guy replied some garter belt.. interesting, i havnet seen a garter belt before, on a woman that is. chin replied gloves(wtf???!?!), waterboi replied shoulder pads (boring), cherilyn replied g-string (thats my ans too) .. along with that also gt bras etc. haha.. class 95 rox.

things are still running shaky for dnd venue. i think it would be solve if money drop from the sky or if we settle for 2nd choice venue. nevertheless during this time, i realised the most important while organizing events of any scale is actually networking relationships.

so i need resources on the things mention below, do drop me a note if you know of any help

1. flowers
anyone has friends working in florists/nursery. best if the person has knowledge on flower arrangments. infact my mum graduated from flower arrangement course and she has agreed to sponsor for the free service, now its the actual flowers

2. entertainment gadgets
top lucky prizes of a ipod nano or creative zen would surely be a magnet for pple to come for dnd, at least stay till the lucky draw is over. how abt contacts in working in sony? (for a SONY PSP) or LG (black chocolate) and maybe Nokia for N91.. i seriously need some reliable contacts. or even LCDs monitors, i can imagine the smile of a winning recipient of a 19" Samsung LCD screen.

3. sporting goods.
it would be a godsend if anyone is working in big shot sporting outlets. last heard a kent ridgean is working in NEW BALANCE as some marketing manager, but darn i lost the contact. imagine $100 vouchers for royal sporting house, its quite the bomb isnt it? gym endorsements would be cool too, like 1mth free trial in california fitness is half the bomb..

4. spas and resorts.
it would be fabulous if your dad/mum owns banyan tree limited.. or even berjaya resorts. let me know and we will try to work out some deals with membership etc. actually any kind of therapy would be great! even those aromatherapy mini spas, salon, manicure/pedicure is a great bonus!

5. webpage expertise
if you gt friends are super zai with macromedia dreamweaver or basically in website designing, tell me. i cant wait to have their technical help and support.. nove? how? haha

6. transport
anyone of ur dads own a bus rental service, it would be the bomb la. also we need lorry, vans coming closer the event to transport goodies bags etc. tks dinah for ur KIA van.

7. goodie bag
the actual plastic or paper bags. good if its topshop, singtel or watever la. we need 350.

something just struck me again, maybe its the calling watsoever, its the same feeling i had after fwoc, before i took up the task as blkhead.

catch up with shan, ket, ron, dinah, por and yannick the whole of yest, different timing tho. caught up wif a few gossips. haha. abt the coffee duckrice, naked sleeping, underpaid QS, budding love, haha. watever la. its gd to come back to hall, spend the night here too, but the sian thing is that the premises ard kr are always prone to upgrading n construction. theres this pte property driving piles jus across the canal, as usual.

i thing i realised thru blogging, thing can spead like wildfire, esp the wu zong xian from bblk, ivp track.. haha.. in ron's words: 'hes more powerful than a GPS satelite." abit exaggerated, but my sentiments exactly.

i think i shd be shifting back to hall very soon, need to the dnd task sorted out and make it a blast event. sigh, they are changing caterer, no more hot china auntie squealing 'shaui geeeeee' anymore :( sigh.. they are really nt that bad afterall, change is gd? i dunno.. not for all maybe.

some time had passed since the last showdown talk. i admit i wasnt feeling convinced i was the cause of the breakdown then. probably absence makes the heart fonder, yes, i thought harder, stood out of the circle for some time to see the whole picture and hw it actually progressed, deterioted and eventually terminated.

interestingly, due to my immobility, i started talking to pple on msn with more genuity, truly making conversation.. and start to observe things ard me, esp more on bgrs. i dunno issit me or wat, i noticed a rise of bgr problems during the holis, and similiarly a rise in new couples during exam period.. haha. wonder why.

i saw mud's flmate online, starting chatting with her. the chat i felt was a masterpiece, even tho this new couple are merely yr2s, they exhibit great maturity, esp on building a relationship in hall. i was taken aback, wonder why am i not thinking of that then and as a supposely more mature/experienced person, i should be dealing this issue with more ease. i was wrong. the whole basis worked on trust & faith. salute.

flmate couple number2, saw those lovebirds at YIH. one of them gg for dance practise, the other for ivp track. once again, i truly admire the slow and steady building process. it seems that they are having a rock solid foundation rather than my shot-gun approach. it is transparent wat this pair of lovebirds want from each other, definitely not physical conquest, nor wealth perks, its solely for simple love and companionship. salute.

flmate 3. a budding talented poetic model. a day on while we were having a msn conversation, she asked me this qn, 'are guys usually very physical while dating? ' for a moment, i tot she was referring to me. ha, i was way too suspicious. nevertheless, that qn spurred me to think even harder. on my, even a simple ger could well be offended by normal physical interaction, let alone someone who had been thru ups and downs of bgrs. my my.. perhaps fate, magic or watever, all these individuals happen to be mud's closest pals. somehow these incidents made me realised what a fool i've been, not to mentioned how ungentlemanly i can be regarded by any female.

instead, i was not being ostracized. given to chance to still behave like a normal friend. thank yous and remorseful aint enough i feel. i owe u a heartfelt apology. action speaks louder than words.
