holiday(s)!

packing on a wkend in hall is so sad.

3 out of the 6 shelves above are cleared of stuff, empty now, its just like how i first moved in hall, slowly shifting in, now its just the reverse, shifting back. sigh.

i've bid farewell to people that matters to me the most, from master, RFs, hall managers, to jcrc, my neighbours, blkcomm, 5th gers, 3rd fl singing birds, gym kias and some 2nd fl gems. so for those who did received something, u guys taught me a lesson or 2 throughout my stay here. thank u.

my holiday plans are rather firmed up now, would be traveling non-stop with less than a wk in between from 3may onwards till 26jun


2nd - 7th may 07
genting . KL
Going with the facmates, together with viet to enjoy the 1st of our many overseas trips. ha. guess it would be a eating frenzy, alot of casino, drinking, .. lots of entertainment i suppse.

11th - 25th may 07
Chiangmai, Thailand
Embarking on the 1st KR yep initiative, to a small village further up chiangmai for some community work, to build a school + some water infrastructure. together with 23 other kent ridgeans, guess this would be very fulfilling.

25th - 30th may 07
Laos, cambodia, vietnam (pending)
Going backpacking with sweeyong, alone, yet to plan the itininary, but guess it would be totally relax and free and easy.

7th - 16th Jun 07
Taiwan
The 6th fl trio, me darren and ken going to Taiwan, need to try the authentic shilin chicken, watch GUESSS show, taken photo with jolin tsai. haha. watever, think the bulk of shopping spree part 1 would be done in taiwan. thinking of exploring places like yilan, hualian, gaoxiong, kanding etc etc.. still waiting to finalise plans. would be great i think

Shanghai . Xiamen-Putian
Initially wanted to go Aus to visit cousin mx, but guess its too costly to go with a package, so a cheaper alternative would be to shanghai for great food and alot of shopping, then to xiamen putian to visit my ancestors. yes, that explains my prc lookalike, i do have a whole extended village of family members there and i plan to visit them!

now im already leading a fabulous holiday, in a bless almost everyday, greeting by a brilliant smile every morning. phantom of the opera, movie Shooter are great shows, but the companionship is even more incredible. living every single moment like a fairy tale.

times flies. its probably the last few entries of hall life and etc.

its really great, to come as a freshie eguanababy and then to a senior and then to a final yr, the journey has been really eventful, plenty of ups and downs, learn abt time management, eq, IQ, public speaking and the list goes on. there are certain things and pple that left a deep impression on me. i think im prepared to move on to my next phase of life, to be a working adult with new responsibilities. i knew i had matured when i didnt shed a tear at the last fyf supper, not during command too. i guess all gd things have to come to an end somehow. 'moving on' is the correct term.

hall politics. blk politics. its inevitable, theres no perfect solution to them, u cannt please everyone, just a fair balance, but then again, who is to judge where the balance line is? paradox of life. accept it.

u guys know the beaty of collective power and communal living. but u guys also know the loopholes in this system, whatever la, just enjoy ur final yr stay, no need to take into account watever ultimate goal. enjoyment is the key.

to 3rd fl culture gers

actually i am very amazed by u pple, being so close to each other and so talented in ur own fields in the culture scene. my regret is that i cant be of the same frequency of u all but trust me i do enjoy every performance that u guys put up. yes ibg is not everything, but it forms the basis of excellence in everything else. its the mindset, the training and mentality. winners never say die.

the 2nd fl monkeys and jokers

whenever i see u bunch i would think of ron's batch when they were yr1s. totally crazy, adorable and funloving batch. continue to be like dat pls. ur time would slowly come to be responsible with new tasks and slowly u can see the other side of hall life. not totally intimidating, just that u need sometime of growing before u embark of ownership & leadership. to the little bird standing on top of the giant, im really fortunate to see someone so eagaerly to mature, and able to see different perspectives in so many aspects. u remind me of b.steph, how she spear thru the facade of many cheehongs in eblk then, like how u manage to see the cloud of politics here. well done, jus rem the earlier u ripe, u earlier u rot. (imagine urself as a mango). .so just be cautious.

always the noisy bunch. innocent and pure individuals. sometimes i hope i can have ur innocence in perspective in life. and how i missed those times of senseless laughter and nonsense. continue to share ur craziness with the freshies when they come next yr, share with them how close eblk is when ur usual room visiting, eating supper, jogging and mugging together. im sure robin/linus would be proud to see u guys continuing doing that to new freshies next yr.

my neighbours.

if im an angel, they would be my wings. they are always there for me, simple conversation chats, playing games, mugging together, showering together, eating supper together, jogging together, drinking together, clubbing together. i think im would surely miss them when i leave hall in less than 10days.

actually im also very impressed by certain individuals from other blk

im starting to taste abit of royal treatment any 'boyfriend' can ask for..

in my 8yrs or so of humble courtship career, i was never treated with such dedication and attention, never did i imagine she is that sort or capable of doing anything sooo sweet. its the bits and pieces that made this journey so carefree and assured, and no way i am taking anything for granted.

on the 4th of april, i was taken to another level of awe. 100 bulbs of xmas lights, 60mins of total concentration and nifty fingers. all these make yow a happy man, a fortunate one too.
