did our presentation today, was all abt project management, making sure how u can estimate the project, the cost managment, the project schedules and resource levelling.

team member 1: todd chambers
from: usa
nice patient mid20s young man, who took leave from sch for a while to start his own pte company, but only to find discontentment with partner and blow the partnership off. was a man of hands on experience, well versed with the bulding sequence and processes. i admired his patience esp dealing with all of us when our english is way below par.. theres a couple of times he nearly exploded but thats it, he tried to kept his cool and get our team together and get the job done. was the main man for the bid day and kept the whole project going and we managed to get into a 5th out of 15 position, dats pretty reasonable ya.

member 2: tai-ling, shen

age 27, doing his masters on construction management. simple super nice person. im closest to him coz both of us can speak mandarin, heh. but thats also the problem, coz his eng is nt realli dat gd, i gt to be his interpreter. i do not mind at all, juz that i feel the language problem wld hinder him and his progress of learning. he acknowledged the fact and hes willing to change.. shared some opinions of other grp mates and we do bitch smtimes together too..

late 20s indian lady whos also in the masters prg. generally a nice person BUT talks way too much and always have this unknowing tendency to self praise and talk big. sometimes cannt take it.. and couple of times shes quite rude esp when talking to the taiwanese.. coz of his inabilitiy to understand certain terms, she wld jus blatantly cut in and say 'i say AT LEAST 10 times explaining to u already, and u still dun understand it..' the poor taiwanese fella wld jus give a smile coz i assumed he doesnt understand a shit shes saying.. nt my personal favourite kind of grpmate.. cannt stand her at times too.

late20s doing masters in construction mgmt too. a very strong and determined person who never fails to accomplised his tasks diligently. a very nice personal friend whom i share some of my personal life with. has a leching smile but ha, hes married, so no worries. he organized a farewell dinner jus for me. jap pple are sweet ya?

thats abt all. the final comments that the 3 professors that sat thru our presentation was.

prof 1: "i think by far, you are the most impressive grp that presented the building sequence with that visual aid.. the 3-D modelling was very informative.. "

prof 2: "i have to comment this grp is the most diligent and amazing grp i've seen.. i've seen u guys alot working extra after classes.. gd job.. and i would buy your idea on your building sequence.."

prof 3: "Gd job guys.. "

Wow. praises are worth millions.

i feel gd. 1 paper tmlo, gonna take some rest and exams gonna be over soon (next mon sgt)..
